Zeutschel at the CeBIT 2012 – Hall / H15
Scanning and copying of bound or stitched documents is often laborious and time-intensive. With zeta Zeutschel shows how this can be done simpler, faster and better. The scanning specialists from Tübingen will for the first time show a version at the CeBIT that is customised for office copying requirements. “The zeta Office version sets new copying standards for making work easier, saving time, and design in everyday office life”, says Jörg Vogler, Zeutschel’s Managing Director, ahead of the world’s largest IT trade fair.http://www.zeutschel.de
Tübingen, January 2012 – Scanning and copying remains a fact of office life – and not just of loose documents. Documents from office folders or leaf binders, plus pages from magazines or books, often have to be copied as well. The Zeutschel zeta has clear practical advantages with its principle of overhead scanning.
With the zeta the originals are on their back and are carefully scanned from the top. The user simply turns the page after each copy without having to spend time removing and repositioning the documents.
The touch screen display on the right side of the device simplifies scanning due to its intuitive controls and scan preview. Faulty scans are a thing of the past.
Thanks to plug’n'scan start-up couldn’t be simpler: just plug it in, press the On button and you’re ready to scan. The supplied TWAIN driver enables easy connection to existing software environments.
Designed for tough office work
The intelligent control software of the zeta Office version has been designed for typical office applications and provides optimised copying results. Disruptive elements like folder mechanisms with levers or document holes are removed automatically, while crooked pages and distorted letters in the book fold or folded plans are straightened.
And with a scan area of A3+ the Zeutschel zeta can also handle larger documents like balance sheets or building plans, but takes up much less space than a conventional A3 copier including paper magazine.
Users can store a digital copy on a USB stick, send by e-mail, upload to an FTP server, or print out via a connected printer.
The new Zeutschel digital copier does not only make your work easier and produces better copies, but also cuts a fine figure – it is a real eye-catcher, a machine you want to work with. There are two available designs: with an aluminium or white gloss finish.
Sustainable and ‘Made in Germany’
“Like all other Zeutschel overhead scanners, zeta is ‘Made in Germany’. The development of both devices as well as the production including quality control take place at the company headquarters in Tübingen-Hirschau. And a large portion of the required components are from regional suppliers.
The digital copier conforms to the current Energy Star guidelines for energy-saving office equipment. It is also environmentally-friendly with regard to paper consumption thanks to the multiple digital options for further processing and the preview function. According to Jörg Vogler, Zeutschel’s Managing Director, there is no longer a need for wastepaper baskets next to a zeta.
